TU Student to be Awarded as Distinguished Military Graduate

TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, Tiffin, OH— Tiffin University senior, Army ROTC Cadet Mackenzie (Mac) Butler, will receive the Distinguished Military Graduate award on Saturday, April 27 at 3 p.m. in Chisholm Auditorium on TU’s campus. Bowling Green State University’s (BGSU) Army ROTC will present the formal program.

Distinguished Military Graduates are those who rank in the top 20 percent of all Cadets in a year group. This is based on three major categories: academics, leadership, and physical fitness. Butler was in the top 20 percent of 5,526 Cadets nationally.

Butler attends Army ROTC courses at BGSU and majors in Forensic Psychology at Tiffin University. He will graduate from TU on May 4 and upon completion of his ROTC coursework, he will be commissioned as a second lieutenant.
