On November 15 at 11 a.m., Tiffin University will celebrate its international students through the 32nd Annual International Flag Ceremony. The event is part of International Education Week (IEW) and will take place in the Osceola Theatre in the Gillmor Student Center. The public is invited to attend.

Tiffin University has 213 international campus-based students, hailing from 45 countries outside the United States. Morocco, Tunisia, Malawi, Antigua and Barbuda, as well as the Philippines will be represented at the Flag Ceremony for the first time.

“We are so excited that Student Engagement is hosting the International Flag Day Ceremony this year,” said Director of Student Engagement, Wayne Kreis. “This event is a great way for all of our students to connect with our international students, and helps our international students share information and culture from their homeland. Tiffin University prides ourselves on cultural diversity and ensuring that our students are global ready when they leave Tiffin. This is just another way for us to expose our students to new cultures and global awareness.”
