Tiffin University’s Office of Financial Aid will host a FAFSA Help Open House on Wednesday, March 6 for high school and college students and/or families who are seeking assistance in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at Hertzer Technology Center, room 105. The event is open to all TU students, as well as the public; no registration is required.
Colleges and universities use the FAFSA form to determine how much financial aid a student is eligible to receive. This includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds and loans. Any student, regardless of income, who wants to be considered for federal, state and some school financial aid programs, must fill out the FAFSA. On average, the FAFSA takes less than one hour to fill out, including gathering any personal documents and financial information needed to complete it.
FAFSA Help Open House participants are encouraged to bring their verified account username and password (FSA ID), parent or spouse contributor name, date of birth, Social Security number, email address as well as income and asset information (if required).
