On Friday, February 2, 2024 from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m., Tiffin University’s sports management program will host the third Annual Virtual Sport and Fitness Showcase.
TU students and community members are encouraged to engage virtually with alumni and friends of the institution who are seasoned professionals in the world of health, fitness and athletics. This year’s event will showcase two keynote speakers: Dior Ginyard of Partnerships at Fanatics Live and former Director of Player Affairs for the National Football League (NFL) Players Association, as well as Jim Rooney of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers, Rooney Consulting and FirstLink Research & Analytics. Ginyard is listed in both Forbes 30 under 30 in sports and the Athletic 40 under 40 in the NFL and holds two prestigious rankings for successful and emerging industry leaders.
Over 65 speakers will be featured in 16 breakout rooms, focusing on careers and hot topics in the sports industry. Among the participants are Olympians, professional athletes and agents as well as sport, fitness and marketing experts representing Adidas, Nike, the NFL and Major League Baseball. Participants may Zoom in to each of the breakout rooms at their convenience.
