Tiffin University will officially welcome its incoming first-year class during the annual convocation ceremony on Saturday, August 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Heminger Center located at 350 Miami St, Tiffin. Before the ceremony, new students will participate in a procession down Miami Street, joined by the TU Marching Band, cheerleaders and representatives from faculty and staff.
Convocation signifies the official start of the academic year and serves as a symbolic welcome to the TU community. Designed to mirror graduation, the event offers students the opportunity to reflect on the journey ahead and begin forming connections with fellow classmates, faculty and staff of the institution. The ceremony is open to the families and friends of first-year students, as well as members of the press.
