LIFE@TU, Tiffin University’s lifelong learning program for adults, announces its 2025–26 season, opening September 5, 2025. The program offers 20 engaging lectures and expert panels over the academic year, covering topics such as local and national history, science and technology, the arts, current events, health, finance, criminal justice and more.
LIFE@TU’s speakers and panelists share their expertise with members each week. Each spring, a member-led curriculum committee evaluates and ranks over 100 topic ideas to shape the upcoming season. LIFE@TU Program Coordinator, Mimi Johnston, works with faculty, historians and subject matter experts from across the region to bring those topics to life.
Highlights of the fall 2025 semester include: national security, classified information and intelligence; challenges and strategies for cognitive and mental health, the science of real happiness, Ohio in the Civil War, essentials of estate planning, The Ritz Theatre past, present and center stage, tracing the truth through forensics and more.
The program satisfaction rate is 96% and our member return rate is 97% year over year.
The program has nearly doubled its membership since launching in 2023. “A large factor in the program’s success is that we are member-driven,” said Vickie Wilkins, Director of Alumni Relations and LIFE@TU. “We read weekly evaluations and listen to ideas—from program content to the comfort of the room—and respond. The program satisfaction rate is 96% and our member return rate is 97% year over year.”

Sessions are held in Tiffin University’s Osceola Theatre, located in the Gillmor Student Center at 155 Miami St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 on Fridays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Early bird pricing on memberships starts now.
