TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, Tiffin, OH— “Backpack Around the World,” is the theme of Tiffin University’s 28th International Dinner, to be held on Sat. March 30, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Heminger Center. Sponsored by Huntington Bank and PNC Bank, doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and children 10 years and under are free.
Today, TU celebrates 235 international students who represent 30 countries. The International Dinner is a popular tradition at the University. It provides a unique opportunity for international and American students to share their heritage with the campus and the Tiffin community through food, arts and entertainment.
The dinner will feature a variety of cuisines from across the globe. Entertainment will include acts from TU’s Music Department, a fashion show, photobooth, cultural activities and performances.
“The International Dinner is a great way for our students to get involved,” said Scott Saracusa, Executive Director of International Affairs. “Students get to share their culture with others. We are all different, and our uniqueness should be celebrated.”
According to Saracusa, space is limited, and tickets traditionally sell out quickly. Tickets are available for purchase at the door. For questions, call Caitlyn Bass at 419-448-3287 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year's dinner will include a variety of cuisines from across the globe, live music, fashion show, photo booth, cultural activities and performances.
