Tiffin University’s Health Center has partnered with Mercy Health to offer quality medical services for the campus community.
The primary clinic is located in Friedley Hall, with a secondary at the Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital Primary Care, Suite 103, located at 27 St. Lawrence Dr.
The Friedley location’s operations are overseen by Robin Stump – APRN, NP-C, the University’s new full-time Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Tanveer Brar, a Mercy Health family medicine physician, will lead the Mercy Health location.
“We are excited to partner with Mercy Health to offer a greater repertoire of services for the Dragon community,” said Dr. Amy Wood, Senior Vice President for Campus Recruitment and Student Affairs. “Because of this collaboration, our students will now have easier access to Mercy Health’s extended services and team of healthcare professionals.”
“Mercy Health has been a key partner in the health and well-being of the Tiffin area community for 110 years, and so it is only natural that we expand that service with another anchor institution in our community,” said Andrew Morgan, president, Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital and Mercy Health – Willard Hospital. “We look forward to partnering with TU for the wellness of the student and university population as well as for the community as a whole.”
The Health Center offers diagnostic and treatment services for illness and injuries, general health assessments, first aid, sport physicals, referrals for specialty care, flu vaccines and allergy shots. These services are available to University students, faculty and staff.
