Freshman Applicants

  1. Completion of secondary school and leaving examinations by the time of enrollment with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (U.S. conversion) 
  1. English translation of secondary school records, if necessary 
  1. Proof of English Proficiency 
  1. Valid visa 

Transfer Applicants

  1. Post-secondary/College cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher 
  1. English translation of transcripts, if necessary 
  1. Proof of English proficiency 

Tiffin University Application Checklist

The following requirements must be completed by both undergraduate and graduate international applicants. 

After you complete our online application, you will receive access to our online portal.  

In the portal, you must pay the $75 application fee and upload all application materials in order to complete the application.

Freshmen Applicants

Submit secondary school transcripts and examination board results (if applicable) via the application portal. Students still enrolled in school or waiting to take their leaving examinations should send their existing results/transcripts. 

Transfer Applicants

Submit all post-secondary transcripts. A full record of academic results after secondary school is required; please do not omit any college/university records. 


Unofficial/scanned copies are permitted during the application process. You will be required to submit original, official documents prior to the start of your first semester at Tiffin.  

If your academic record is not provided in English, you must submit an official translation. 

Tiffin University reviews transcripts to determine their equivalency to a U.S. credential and U.S. style GPA. An outside evaluation is not required at the time of review but may be requested in special circumstances. 

Applicants are required to submit official or verifiable English proficiency examination results at the application stage. Our accepted English examinations and minimum score requirements are listed below.
