Digital Media – Digital Storytelling

On Campus
The Institute of Creative and Media Arts / Digital Media – Digital Storytelling

Create narratives to connect and inspire.

Preparing students for careers in public history, cultural history, education, libraries, healthcare and businesses, Tiffin University’s digital media program with a professional track in multimedia storytelling teaches students the skills they need to succeed as creators of multimedia presentations and projects that connect communities locally and around the world.

From communicating effectively inside a business, to preserving the history of an organization or community, to creating interesting and entertaining multimedia presentations for education and entertainment, there are many opportunities for students as digital media professionals with a focus in digital storytelling.

Courses explore exhibit design, digitization, audiovisual design, marketing, project management, cultural diversity and uniqueness, digitization and digital archiving. Students create and present exhibits, pop-up museums and exhibits and metaverse expressions on campus, in the community and online.

TU students get hands-on experience developing presentations and exhibits, multimedia histories, educational, promotional and corporate training materials. They will also work in conjunction with TU’s historical archives, art gallery as well as area business organizations to develop their own professional portfolio that will support a variety of career paths.
