Digital Media – Sports Media
for the love of the game
Preparing students for careers creating content for and about the ever-changing sports and entertainment industries, TU’s digital media program with a professional track in sports media trains students to work in broadcasting, journalism, social media, public relations, fan engagement or related areas. Students explore sports information reporting and analysis, develop skills on camera, behind the scenes and at the mic, learn about sports data analytics and prepare for professional internships by leading a sports media production team.
Program Highlights
With a foundation based in digital media, the digital media program with a sports media track prepares students to serve in a variety of roles in the sports industry, including sports reporting, broadcasting, online media, advertising, video production, public relations, communications, digital media and management. Students learn to work with sports data and statistics, and get a variety of hands-on experience producing video, radio and podcasting content.
