Lady Dragon Golfers Rank High for Performance and Academic Achievement

Tiffin University’s women’s golf team is ranked 16th in the nation in the latest Golfstat NCAA Division II national team rankings.

The ranking is the best ever for a TU women’s golf team, eclipsing the ranking of 37th attained on Sept. 26, 2019.

The women’s golf team also finished sixth in NCAA Division II in team GPA, as the WGCA announced the top academic teams in the country.

The Dragons posted a 3.799 GPA, easily the top mark in the GMAC. Findlay was 15th with a 3.723 while Walsh was 20th with 3.676. Davenport led the nation with 3.918, while only Wayne State (fourth) was higher in the region than the Dragons with a 3.816.

The sixth-place mark also continues the Dragons’ upward trajectory academically, as they were 14th last year and 16th in 2017-18.
