Tiffin University Offering Trip to Ireland

May 18-27, 2019

TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, Tiffin, OH— Tiffin University is offering students, faculty, staff and the community the opportunity to visit Ireland from May 18 to May 27, 2019. In coordination with TU’s Office of Alumni Relations, the company Collette will be hosting the trip.

The Trip

On the first day in Dublin, participants can visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, O’Connell Street, the General Post Office, and the historic Phoenix Park. They may also tour Dublin’s historic center, St. Stephen’s Garden, Grafton Street, and the River Liffey.

Participants will also get the chance to visit Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city. There, they will have the opportunity to tour the house of Waterford Crystal and learn how crystal is made. Participants will also journey to the historic Blarney Castle to lean back and kiss its famous stone.

The Cost

The trip cost ranges from $3,969 to $4,549. The cost includes round-trip airfare, accommodations, on-tour transportation, regional-style meals (breakfast included daily and 3 local dinners), full-time tour director, guided sightseeing and entrance fees.
