Tiffin University Partners with CQF Institute to Expand Opportunities for Business and Finance Students

Students in classroom

Tiffin University has partnered with the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) Institute to provide business and finance students with additional professional development, educational and networking opportunities.

By partnering with the CQF Institute, students have access to a free membership. As members, TU students can access technical talks and conferences, networking events, career workshops and professional development programs. Full-time students will also have access to the Wilmott Scholarship. The partnership provides TU students with opportunities to build their professional networks, gain technical skills and explore employment opportunities in the field.

Founded by Dr. Paul Wilmott, the Certificate in Quantitative Finance, part of Fitch Learning, is a globally recognized qualification in quantitative finance that has been offered for more than 23 years and has been completed by thousands of professionals worldwide. The online program focuses on the areas of quantitative methods, portfolio management, equity investments, derivatives and risk management, developing strong skills in mathematics, Python and finance.

“This partnership with the Certificate in Quantitative Finance Institute is about creating more opportunities for our students,” said Dr. Tom Marben, Dean of the School of Business at Tiffin University.

“By connecting their classroom experience with industry recognized knowledge and credentials, we are helping students enter the workforce with a meaningful advantage while reinforcing the knowledge and skills they have developed in the classroom.”
