Tiffin University President Dr. Lillian Schumacher has launched a leadership podcast, “Audacious Ideas: How Leaders Drive Outcomes In Complex Environments,” focused on how leaders across higher education, business and policy navigate change, make decisions under pressure and create momentum in rapidly evolving environments.
“Audacious Ideas” examines how leaders across sectors make decisions, build momentum and drive outcomes during periods of rapid change. The podcast focuses on the gap between strategy and execution, how organizations adapt under pressure and what leadership requires when conditions are shifting faster than institutions were designed to absorb.
The debut episode features higher education leader Dr. Joe Sallustio, Co-Founder of the EdUp Experience Podcast and Chief of Industry Engagement at Ellucian. Drawing from conversations with hundreds of college presidents and organizational leaders, Sallustio joins Schumacher for a candid discussion exploring what leaders are still avoiding, where institutions confuse activity with progress and what effective decision-making looks like in environments where conditions are changing faster than traditional leadership models were designed to accommodate.
