Tiffin University to Host Homecoming and Family Weekend September 18-20, 2026

Tiffin University will welcome alumni, students, families and friends to campus for Homecoming & Family Weekend Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026. The three-day celebration will feature opportunities to reconnect, experience campus, celebrate TU traditions and show Dragon pride.

Events begin Friday with the Homecoming Open House and Legacy Visit Day and LIFE@TU, the University’s lifelong learning program. An alumni networking lunch will take place at noon, followed by a hospitality table and campus tours. The Main Classroom Building Open House will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. and will include an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments and an opportunity to explore the historic campus space.

Friday evening will feature the Night of Champions in the Heminger Center. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., with the event beginning at 5 p.m. The evening will recognize the 2026 Alumni Award recipients and Athletic Hall of Fame inductees and include food, entertainment, raffles and auctions supporting Tiffin University. Advance registration and payment are required.

Saturday activities begin with the hospitality table opening at 8:30 a.m. Coffee and Conversation with the President and Advancement Staff will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the Dragon Flames Vow Renewal from 10 to 11 a.m. Campus tours will also depart at 10 and 11 a.m., and a Karaoke Brunch will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Dragon Marketplace and Alumni Village and Family Fun Zone will both be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering alumni-owned businesses, student organizations, vendors, TU merchandise, inflatables, face painting, games, music and family activities. An alumni baseball game will begin at noon at the Paradiso Athletic Complex.

Homecoming festivities continue at Frost-Kalnow Stadium beginning at 3 p.m. Pregame activities include Green & Gold Fest, the introduction of the Homecoming Court and opportunities for cheerleading, band and choir alumni to reconnect and participate alongside current students. The Tiffin University football team will face Thomas More University at 4 p.m. Admission to the football game is free with advanced Homecoming & Family Weekend registration. Tickets will be $10 at the gate for those who do not preregister.

Saturday concludes with Alumni Anniversary Apps at 7 p.m. at The Empire Bistro in downtown Tiffin. Past Homecoming royalty, Dragon Flames, Golden Grads, student-athlete alumni and reunion groups are invited to gather. The weekend concludes Sunday with the Alumni Golf Outing sponsored by the TU Baseball Team at 9 a.m. at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fremont. The cost is $100 per person.  

Registration for Homecoming & Family Weekend is highly recommended. Guests should register by Friday, September 11, 2026, as late registration may limit access to select events. All events are open to alumni, families and friends.
