Jada Moore, Tiffin University student, winner of the Tiffin Innovation Program (TIP) and CEO of the newly founded iPromei Skin Care Company, has partnered with the University to offer self-care packages to all students upon their arrival to campus.

TU created the TIP program for entrepreneurially-minded students who want to start their own company. It is designed to inspire and educate students so that they can develop and launch an innovative start-up company. Moore, a current senior, was the winner of the Startup Recognition Award for the 2022 TIP class and was gifted startup funding for the iPromei business.

Her company is focused on producing quality products at affordable prices, while also educating customers about proper skincare practices. Moore and her business partner, Marissa Smith, will be taking orders for custom gift boxes from students and their families during TU’s upcoming Welcome Weekend.

iPromei will be offering three versions of the gift boxes, also referred to as TU Totes. Each comes with a custom TU tote bag.

  • The Student Essentials Tote will sell for $40 and will include iPromei student essentials: bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant and floss.

“The Ipromei Skin Care and Tiffin University partnership is a unique opportunity to apply the knowledge I’ve gained during my time as a student with the School of Arts and Sciences,” Jada explained. “It’s refreshing to partner with the same institution that helped give iPromei its start. The company means so much to me, as I have a passion for helping others give themselves the best. Ipromei stands for ‘I Promise Me’ and whether that promise is about skincare, mental health or anything else, giving people the tools to pamper and prioritize themselves and each other is our mission. I can’t wait to continue learning and growing through this initiative.”

Investment opportunities are also available to grow iPromei’s business and offer better quality products. Funds will go towards their organic ingredients, equipment, sustainable packaging and more.
