Tiffin University’s Board of Trustees has voted to appoint Andrew Morgan as its newest member.

Andrew Morgan is the Chief Strategy Officer for AdventHealth Mid-America Region, where he leads strategy, growth and marketing efforts in support of the region’s mission and long-term expansion. In this role, he helps align regional priorities, business development and strategic planning with evolving market needs and AdventHealth’s broader strategic aspirations. Andrew brings more than a decade of leadership experience across hospital operations, finance and strategic growth in complex health systems.

Prior to joining AdventHealth in 2026, Andrew served as President of Mercy Health – Tiffin and Willard Hospitals in Bon Secours Mercy Health’s Toledo East Rural Market, where he provided executive leadership for two community hospitals. Before becoming president, he served as Market Chief Financial Officer for Mercy Health’s rural hospital market, overseeing financial operations for three hospitals and the organization’s transportation network. He also spent more than seven years with AdventHealth in finance leadership roles across Tampa and Connerton. Andrew holds an MBA from Liberty University and a BS in Business Administration from Union Adventist University, with an emphasis in accounting and finance. He remains actively engaged in community and economic development efforts and has served on numerous regional boards and advisory groups focused on strengthening community partnerships, workforce development and regional growth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Andrew Morgan to the Tiffin University Board of Trustees,” said Tiffin University President, Dr. Lillian Schumacher.

“Andrew’s deep expertise in healthcare leadership, finance and strategic growth — and his proven commitment to strengthening the communities he serves — will be a tremendous asset as we continue to advance the University’s mission and strategic plan. As Chief Strategy Officer for a major national health system, he understands how to align resources with long-term vision, and that perspective will help ensure TU remains responsive to the evolving needs of our students and the region.”

Chairman of the Board of Trustees Andrew Felter echoed those sentiments, highlighting Morgan’s extensive leadership experience and the perspective he will bring to the Board’s work. “Andrew brings an exceptional record of operational and financial leadership across complex health systems, along with a genuine passion for expanding access and opportunity in the communities he serves,” said Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Andrew Felter. “In his current role as Chief Strategy Officer for AdventHealth’s Mid-America Region, he is helping shape the future of care across a multi-state system — exactly the kind of strategic insight and discipline that adds value to our Board. We are confident he will help guide Tiffin University’s continued growth and success for years to come.”
