Dr. Ron Schumacher, a 1996 graduate of Tiffin University with an MBA, has dedicated his career to advancing higher education through visionary leadership, student success and institutional growth. His connection to Tiffin University spans more than three decades, beginning as an assistant football and softball coach before serving as head softball coach, Director of Admissions, Vice President for Enrollment Management and later Vice President for Development and Public Affairs. His diverse leadership roles reflect a deep and lasting commitment to the University and its mission.
Building on his success at Tiffin, Dr. Schumacher went on to serve as Vice President for Enrollment at the University of Saint Francis before being named President of Terra State Community College. As a first-generation college graduate, he has championed access to higher education, workforce development, strategic enrollment, institutional advancement and community partnerships. His leadership has strengthened educational opportunities for thousands of students while positioning the institutions he has served for long-term success.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Schumacher has remained deeply engaged in civic leadership through service on numerous community boards and as an active member of Rotary International. Throughout his career, he has exemplified servant leadership by fostering meaningful partnerships, mentoring future leaders and creating opportunities that positively impact both students and communities.
