B.S. in Equestrian Studies and Equine Business Management, University of Findlay
The OEL Financial Aid Counselor assists online students with the financial aid process, and provides information on financial aid procedures and eligibility requirements. Adheres with institutional, state, and federal compliance guidelines, takes initiative to resolve problems and assists with the day-to-day activities with the processing of all items associated with financial aid.
As a financial aid counselor, I am one of the first lines of contact for my students at TU. The Online and Extended Learning FAC is a new position at TU. I am excited to be the bridge between the OEL team and the FA team.
I am originally from Pennsylvania. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Equestrian Studies, and Equine Business Management from the University of Findlay, which brought me to this area. I have a huge passion for horses, and was a professional show horse trainer traveling all over the country for years. I became interested in higher education while working with students who were transitioning from school to adulthood. I am looking forward to pursuing my Master’s degree here at Tiffin University.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my large, blended family. We enjoy hiking, canoeing, fishing and other outdoor activities. I spend lots of time watching the kids participate in track, cross country, golf and other activities. I love all types of animals, and will always have that huge passion for horses!
