What are Scholarships, Discounts, and/or Grants?
A scholarship, discount, or grant is a sum of money or other aid granted to a student because of merit, need, or other reasons to pursue his or her studies. Unlike loans, this type of aid does not have to be repaid.
Discounts are applied after Federal and State grants. If the total is more than the charges the discount will be reduced. Discounts, scholarships, and grants are not refunded to the student.
