Admission Process
- Upon receipt of all required application documents, the Admission Committee will evaluate your application to determine your eligibility to enroll at Tiffin University. Your application is considered incomplete and cannot be reviewed until all required documents have been received.
- To receive your Form I-20 for a visa interview, you will be required to submit copies of the following documents. Academic Records Request Form (pdf)
Application Deadlines
- The application deadline for the August (Fall) intake is July 15th. The application deadline for the January (Spring) intake is November 15th.
Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Applicant Requirements
Minimum Requirements for Undergraduate Admission
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, or graduation from an accredited associate’s degree program, or currently attending an accredited undergraduate associate’s/bachelor’s degree program.
- For freshman applicants, GPA 2.0. For transfer applicants, GPA 2.0
- Satisfactory TOEFL score (61 iBT) or IELTS score 5 or iTEP score of 3.4 or Duolingo 85-90
To apply for admission to Tiffin University, please submit the following documents:
- Completed Application Form
- Freshmen Students – Request that all secondary schools or examination boards send original or attested copies of all transcripts, diplomas, mark sheets, and certificates directly to Tiffin University in an official, sealed envelope. In addition, where the original documents are not issued in English, also provide an official English translation of each document. Tiffin University will not accept scanned or notarized copies.
- Transfer Students – Request that all secondary schools, colleges, or universities attended, and examination boards send original or attested copies of all transcripts, diplomas, mark sheets, and certificates directly to Tiffin University in an official, sealed envelope. In addition, where the original documents are not issued in English, also provide an official English translation of each document. Tiffin University will not accept scanned or notarized copies.
- Copy of your passport
The International Admissions Office reserves the right to request that any applicant be required to submit an academic credential evaluation from an external service provider.
Graduate (Master’s) Applicant Requirements
Minimum Requirements for Graduate Admission
- A bachelor’s degree or a three-year undergraduate professional degree from an accredited higher education institution, or currently attending an accredited MBA program.
- Undergraduate academic achievement of 3.0 GPA
- Resume/CV
- Satisfactory TOEFL score (550 PBT/79-80 iBT) or IELTS score 6 or iTEP score of 3.9 or Duolingo 100-105
To apply for admission to Tiffin University, please submit copies of the following documents:

Tiffin University Transfer Academic Scholarships for On-campus Transfer Students Beginning the 2023-2024 Academic Year:

Academic scholarships are awarded to full-time on-campus students during their first year or to transfer students. The amount awarded to a first year or transfer student is the amount they can continue to receive during their enrollment on-campus at Tiffin University. We do not move scholarship amounts up after the first year. This scholarship can not go toward bookstore charges.
Scholarship amounts will only be determined after a student has submitted all of the required documents. The scholarship amounts per academic year are as follows:

Important To Note
DO NOT enter the U.S. on a visitor (tourist) visa (B-2), unless it is designated “Prospective Student” by the Consular Officer. The U.S. Immigration Service rarely authorizes a change in status from B-2 to F-1, and you will be required to return home to do so.
