Donald Hampton, Jr. (Donnie) is the Chief Executive Officer for Carbon Revolution, a global technology company and Tier 1 OEM supplier, which has successfully innovated, commercialized and industrialized the supply of lightweight carbon fiber wheels to the global automotive industry.
Throughout his professional career, Donnie has held global leadership positions at premier companies such as Honeywell International/Allied Signal, Maxion Wheels/Hayes Lemmerz, Rea Magnet Wire Company, Faurecia and Pace Industries. He began his professional career as a supervisor at the Allied Signal spark plug plant in Fostoria, Ohio. After several roles with increasing responsibility at the Fostoria plant and other Allied Signal (later Honeywell) facilities, Donnie joined Hayes-Lemmerz International (later Maxion Wheels) in Detroit, Michigan as the Director of Operational Excellence for North America. Again, he held leadership roles with increasing responsibility including: Vice President – North America; Vice President and General Manager – the Americas; and Vice President of Global Manufacturing. He left Hayes Lemmerz to assume the role of Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Rea Magnet Wire in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After two years at Rea Magnet Wire, he joined Faurecia in 2016 as the President North America Interiors Division. Subsequently, Donnie joined Pace Industries in 2020 as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Donnie was born and raised in Fostoria. He is the son of Donald and Judith Hampton. He has two lovely daughters, Ayako, an educator and graduate of nearby Heidelberg University and Taryn, a student and softball player at Bluffton University. He is a graduate of Fostoria High School and a veteran of eight years with two branches of service having served in the Army National Guard and the United States Navy in Atsugi, Japan. He earned both his BBA in Accounting and an MBA from Tiffin University and is a member of its Board of Trustees.
