Jamie earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) after completing both a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Master of Health Administration (MHA). With more than 26 years of nursing experience in adult critical care, case management, and healthcare leadership, she has dedicated the past decade to nursing education and academic leadership. Jamie currently serves as Assistant Dean of Nursing at Tiffin University, where she focuses on curriculum development, accreditation, faculty mentorship, student success, and building partnerships with healthcare organizations to expand educational opportunities.

Her scholarly interests center on nursing education, clinical communication, quality improvement, leadership development, and evidence-based practice. Her doctoral work focused on improving nurse-to-nurse handoff communication through implementation of the SBAR framework to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Jamie is committed to serving her community serving on the Mobile Meals of Toledo Board of Directors. She is passionate about preparing the next generation of nurse leaders and advancing excellence in nursing education through collaboration, innovation, and service.
