Michael Ringler is an Undergraduate Admission Counselor at Tiffin University. Specializing in recruiting and working with first-year students that are primarily interested in the academic side of the university as well as those that are interested in Club and Recreational Sports. A 2019 graduate of Heidelberg University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, he is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Psychology. Always wanting to work in higher education, and always having a passion for helping others, he believes that working in admissions is a perfect fit for him.  

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael moved to Lorain, Ohio where he eventually graduated from high school. Later joining the United States Air Force as an EMT. He then left the military to pursue his degree at Heidelberg and to expand his mind. Growing up with a weak support system, Michael understands how important those early college conversations can be to ease the minds of students having doubts about continuing their education.  

In his free time, Michael enjoys making memories with his family that consists of his wife, their 4-year-old son, and three cats. Various trips to the beach, the zoo, or the park are the best places to find him. When the weather is bad or the sun is low, you can find him staying inside building LEGOs or curled up on the couch watching movies.
