Class year and degree earned at Tiffin University?
Class of 2007 for Undergrad and 2009 for MBA.
Why did you choose Tiffin University?
I came to visit with my best friend to a baseball camp during the winter which was an eye opener. We had a high school teammate that was already on the team who introduced us to Coach Allen and showed us around the campus during our visit. It is a very comfortable campus. It is not oversized where you feel like you get lost but still has a college campus feel with everything centrally located. After talking to other players and being introduced to some faculty, you could really tell it was a relaxed caring environment.
What activities were you involved in while attending TU?
Baseball, Student Athlete Advisory Committee
Do you have a favorite campus memory or person?
So many great people are part of Tiffin University. Obviously Coach Lonny Allen was a huge influence during my college years that gave me this opportunity to compete along with the coaching staff, athletic trainers and athletic department. Gene Chintala had a big impact in regards to campus life. He was always willing to help and had a great positive attitude.
What does being a Tiffin University graduate mean to you?
Being a Dragon means you work hard, treat everyone with respect and make valuable relationships. It’s a great day to be a Dragon!
Where are you employed and what is your job title and responsibilities?
I work at Fidelity Investments as a Financial Advisor.
What do you like most about your job/career?
I get to help people’s futures. Everyone works hard but not exactly sure how to make that hard work last for years down the road, I get to make sense of it all with them.
What advice would you give a student looking into your career?
I would say be flexible with a great work ethic. I didn’t graduate planning to be a financial advisor but was able to learn, work hard and find success based on my educational foundation that Tiffin University provided.
