Tiffin University has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) through the 2031 academic year, recognizing the University’s excellence in cybersecurity education and its commitment to preparing the next generation of cyber professionals.
The designation is part of the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program, managed by the National Security Agency (NSA) in partnership with several federal agencies. The program is designed to create and sustain a collaborative cybersecurity education framework among colleges and Universities nationwide, ensuring academic programs meet rigorous national standards and produce a highly skilled workforce.
Through this designation, Tiffin University joins the CAE in Cybersecurity (CAE-C) Community, an organized network of colleges and universities that have earned recognition through the NCAE-C program. The CAE-C Community actively engages with government representatives to provide educational workshops, opportunities for funding, conferences and working groups.
