On the Sunday afternoons of February 19 and February 26, the Tiffin University men’s soccer team will host its first-ever youth camp for kids ages 3 to 14 in the Heminger Center. There will be several sessions available, based on each child’s age group and skill level, with categories and timeslots as follows:
-Ages 3 – 4: 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
-Ages 5 – 6: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
-Ages 7 – 8: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
-Ages 9 – 10: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
-Ages 11 – 12: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
-Ages 13 – 14: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“The goal of the training sessions is to develop our youth’s soccer knowledge and to promote participation while having fun,” said Rudy Brownell, Head Men’s Soccer Coach. “Over the course of both sessions, the participants will learn vital soccer skills and receive coaching input. Both Tiffin University coaches and players will serve as the coaches for the sessions. Each player should leave with the impression that they have grown and learned something. We look forward to having you on campus!”
The cost per session for each child is $35, or $60 for both days when bundled. Payments should be made on the day of the event in the form of cash or check, made out to Tiffin University Men’s Soccer. Payment can also be mailed in ahead of time, attention to Rudy Brownell – 155 Miami Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
