Tiffin University will present its annual “Christmas at The Ritz” holiday concert on Saturday, December 3 at 7 p.m., at The Ritz Theatre, located at 30 S. Washington St. in Tiffin.
Tiffin University choirs and bands will be joined by the TU Dance Team, TU funk band “Word on the Street,” a cappella groups “Up in the Air” and “Higher Ground,” indie band “No Rain,” hip hop group “Beyond Understanding” and the “Dragon Big Band.” The concert will also feature young community musicians participating in the recording studio production project TiffinKidz.
“This concert is a rare opportunity for our friends of all ages to enjoy a fun, family-oriented musical performance at the beautiful Ritz Theatre,” said Brad Rees, Vice Provost and Dean for the School of Creative and Media Arts. “As is our tradition, we also will also be raising money for charity, so we hope a great crowd will turn out in support of our holiday giving efforts. This is the 18th year that Tiffin University has held its annual holiday concert at the Ritz, and this concert is always the highlight of our year, as it is the only chance some of our students get to perform in the beautiful space.”
