Tiffin University’s Phi Theta Pi Honorary Society Honors TU Student Seth Schreiber

On the evening of Saturday, January 14, Tiffin University’s chapter of the Phi Theta Pi academic honorary society recognized TU student and active member, Seth Schreiber, at their annual awards banquet and buffet. Schreiber was selected as the 2023 recipient of the organization’s George Dupey Academic Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000.

“I was very pleased by the turnout we received for the ceremony and banquet,” said Denny Foos, TU alumnus, Phi Theta Pi member and coordinator for the event. “Last year, we had around 30 attendees, and this time, we welcomed 52 – including alums from all over the Midwest in addition to many active brothers. I’m so glad a strong representation of our alumni body was present to congratulate Seth on a well-deserved award.”

Schreiber of Oxford, Connecticut is a senior double major in forensic psychology, as well as homeland security and terrorism. He hopes to enter the field of threat assessment and research following graduation.

“I’m very grateful I was selected to receive this scholarship,” said Schreiber. “It will be a big help with school.”
