Tiffin University’s Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, will host guest speaker Ashish Agarwal Monday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Chisholm Auditorium in Franks Hall on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Agarwal will lead a workshop on mindfulness and environmental sustainability, exploring climate change and the “Yes! I am Mindful” Movement.
Agarwal is the Founder of the Bridge4Change Foundation, a Gandhian and a champion of systemic change. After completing his MBA, Agarwal founded Paryavaran Mitra, dedicated to empowering rag-picking communities through holistic solid waste management initiatives.
In recent years, he has been promoting mindful consumption as a pathway to achieving sustainable personal well-being. As part of his commitment, he has been living with only 33 personal items for over four years. He has conducted talks and workshops in India, the United Kingdom and the U.S. He has authored two books “Demystified” and “Eco-Bliss.”
Light refreshments will be provided at the event, but please bring your own drink.
