What Our Career Services Can Do For You

Tiffin University isn’t just about a good education – TU provides the tools, the care and the service to support your future. No matter where you live or how you take classes, Tiffin University’s Career Services Office offers a number of programs and resources to assist you with each phase of your career development process. More importantly, our services are customized for your student type (undergrad, grad, online, extended learning and alumni).

As each student has different professional needs, the Career Services team recommends scheduling an appointment get to know each student and their dreams and desires for their future. The meeting is tailed to address the issue – whether that be negotiating salary, developing a job search strategy or tailoring their resume to meet the employer’s needs. TU’s online students receive the same help and resources as on-campus students; the Career Services team may just may have to communicate a little differently, like meeting via telephone or chatting through email.

Career Connections (collegecentral.com/tiffin) is an online job and career database and is a great tool that all students can utilize to search job listings and research companies who are hiring, with the full flexibility of customizable ­­­search and screening criteria.

The College Central Network can be accessed access 24/7. Jobs exclusive to TU, career related podcasts and articles are posted there, as well as the opportunity to become a mentor and connect with a current student to provide tips, resources and tools for their career process.

Career Connections hosts an interactive calendar of upcoming career fairs, information sessions, workshops and other special events. In addition, students can upload their resumes, cover letters and transcript and make them visible to employers.
