Grants & Scholarships – Doctoral

If you are currently active duty military, you are eligible for a reduced rate of tuition at Tiffin University. Students who receive this discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University’s scholarships, grants, or discounts. Proof required annually to confirm continued eligibility of the tuition rate.

Tuition costs:

• $450 per credit hour for Doctoral Students

Acceptable documentation (please provide one)

• Proof of service statement or letter
• Copy of your most recent active enlistment contract
• Letter from an Education Officer
• Copy of active military ID
• Tuition Assistance (TA) Authorization Letter

25% reduction will be awarded to each institution’s eligible employees, their spouses, and children who enroll in either a master’s or doctoral degree program. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

AVI Foodsystems employees are eligible for a discount on tuition at Tiffin University. You must provide a letter from your human resources department each year stating you are an employee. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

Eligible students may receive:

• Online Undergraduate Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• On-Campus Undergraduate Students: $200 per credit hour discount
• Graduate Students: $250 per credit hour discount
• Doctoral Students: $150 per credit hour discount

Avita Health System employees are eligible for a discount on tuition at Tiffin University. You must provide a letter from your human resources department each year stating you are an employee. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

• Online Undergraduate Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• On-Campus Undergraduate Students: $200 per credit hour discount
• Graduate Students: $250 per credit hour discount

Employees of AICUO member institutions will be eligible to receive a discount towards tuition from Tiffin University. Employees of these member insitutions must provide proof annually. Students who receive this discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University’s scholarships, grants, or discounts.

Eligible students may receive the following:

• Doctoral degree program students – $150 per credit hour discount

Edcor is the nation’s leader in outsourced tuition assistance programs. If your employer is a partner with Edcor, you may be eligible for a discount on tuition at Tiffin University. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

Eligible students may receive:

• Graduate Students: $250 per credit hour discount
• Online Undergraduate Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• Doctoral Students: $150 per credit hour discount

Federal Probation and Pretrial Services Officer Association members are eligible for a discount on tuition from Tiffin University. You should provide a letter from the human resources department of your probation and/or pretrial services office each year saying you are a member. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

Eligible students may receive:

• Online Undergraduate Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• Graduate Students: $250 per credit hour discount
• Doctoral Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• Campus Undergraduate Students: $200 per credit hour discount

First Solar full-time employees are eligible for a discount on tuition from Tiffin University. You must provide a letter from your human resources department each year saying you are an employee. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

Eligible students may receive:

• Graduate Students: $250 per credit hour discount
• Online Undergraduate Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• Doctoral Students: $150 per credit hour discount

Graduate students who obtained a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree from Tiffin University are eligible for a $250 per credit hour discount for Master’s programs and $150 per credit hour for the Doctoral program. Students who receive this discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University’s scholarships, grants, or discounts.

Employees of Keller Logistics Group, Inc. are eligible for a discount on tuition at Tiffin University. Eligible employees must meet academic requirements for admission to TU’s online undergraduate, extended learning, graduate and doctorate programs and will receive a discount of 25% off per credit hour on those programs. Eligible employees will pay $1000 per graduate certificate course, plus fees. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

Employees of OACC member institutions will be eligible to receive a discount towards tuition from Tiffin University. Employees of these member insitutions must provide proof annually. Students who receive this discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University’s scholarships, grants, or discounts.

Eligible students may receive the following:

• Doctoral degree program students – $150 per credit hour discount

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections members who are accepted by Tiffin University and enroll in Tiffin University courses will receive a discount. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.

Members of OFIC will be eligible to receive a discount towards tuition from Tiffin University. Members must provide proof of membership annually. Students who receive this discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University’s scholarships, grants, or discounts.

Eligible students may receive the following:

Employees from the following Partner Institutions will be eligible to receive a discount towards tuition from Tiffin University. Students who receive the tuition discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University institutional aid. Must submit proof of employment through a letter from their employer annually.

The amount of the grant is as follows:

• $150 off per credit hour for online and extended learning undergraduate programs
• $200 off per credit hour for main campus undergraduate programs
• $250 off per credit hour for master level programs
• $150 off per credit hour for Doctoral program

Tiffin University will provide a military discount toward tuition to retired military, Veterans, Reservists, National Guard, and/or dependents of active duty (spouse/children). You must submit documentation in order to receive this discount. Students who receive this discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University’s scholarships, grants or discounts. Proof must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office annually to confirm continued eligibility of the discount.

• Doctoral Degree Students: $150 off per credit hour

Participants must meet academic requirements for admission and proof of employment from the institution is required. Students who receive the tuition discount are not eligible to receive additional types of Tiffin University institutional aid.

Volunteers of America employees who are accepted by Tiffin University and enroll in courses will receive a discount. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid. A letter from your HR department certifying employment or a copy of a current pay stub is required for proof annually.

• Online Undergraduate Students: $150 per credit hour discount
• Main Campus Undergraduate Students: $200 per credit hour discount

Wyandot County Board of Development Disabilities employees are eligible for a discount on tuition at Tiffin University. You must provide a letter from your human resources department each year stating you are an employee. This discount cannot be combined with any other form of institutional aid.
