Check-In at 1 to 1:30 p.m.
Awards Ceremony 1:30 p.m.

Tiffin University is proud to celebrate the academic accomplishments of our graduating seniors in all baccalaureate programs. To recognize and celebrate these students for their hard work and dedication to academics, the Academic Honors Ceremony is held annually for baccalaureate degree students, bestowing the Medal of Academic Distinction to those students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

In addition to academic distinction, Tiffin University recognizes one student in each major who has demonstrated the highest excellence in their specific field. This glass flame award is given to graduating students (one in each major) in the baccalaureate program with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Award recipients are chosen by the faculty in the appropriate departments for both their academic performance and for their contribution to learning and life on- and off-campus.

Hosted by Tiffin University Provost & Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Peter J. Holbrook, this year’s Academic Honors Ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 in the Gillmor Student Center. Each student will be allowed to have two guests attend. Due to COVID-19 safety measures, social distancing and mask protocols are required.

If you have any questions or need more information, please email dixonwoodards@tiffin.edu.

The Ceremony will be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQUeQhLPBY4 for family and friends to virtually attend the ceremony.
