Jonathan Head

Jonathan Head serves as the Director of Bands at Tiffin University, where he leads concert and marching bands and commercial music ensembles. Jonathan served for eleven years in public education as a middle and high school band director and modern band instructor, developing comprehensive music programs and mentoring students across diverse musical genres. Jonathan is an active percussionist, saxophonist, guitarist and keyboard player with bands and theater productions around the region. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music education from Ohio University.

Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, the family corgi and playing basketball and tennis.
