Institutions earning the Military Friendly ® School designation was evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey completed by the school. This year 625 schools earned this prestigious designation.
The Military Friendly School’s website features the list, interactive tools, and search functionality to help military students find the best school to suit their unique needs and preferences:
Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly ® Advisory Council of independent leaders in higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey scores with the assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default Rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
“The ranking is a testimony to Tiffin University’s commitment to serving those who have served, as well as those who continue on active duty,” said Denise Burkin, TU’s Director of Veteran and Military Services. “It is truly an honor to assist our military students and help them discover that Tiffin University faculty and staff put into practice and the standards that bestow this prestigious honor on our university.”
Tiffin University is committed to assisting veterans, active members and their spouses in their transition to college. TU has a designated center and program for student veterans and active members to navigate resources and benefits. Opportunities are accessible through a campus-based or online format.
