On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Tiffin University will host its sixth annual Fuel the Fire Giving Day – a charitable event where alumni, employees and friends of TU have the chance to show their appreciation for the institution by making a difference in its future. In 2023, the university received $333,518 through 2,693 donations.
“Giving Day is one of our highlights of the year,” said Mikki King, Director of Annual Giving. “This day offers a moment to honor our past, celebrate our present and invest in our future. Every contribution, no matter the size, is vital in shaping a brighter future for our students and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.”
TU will also host Philanthropy Week from Monday, September 16 to Thursday, September 19 in tandem with Giving Day. Highlights of Philanthropy Week include Thank-A-Giver (TAG) Day which is an opportunity to thank Tiffin University donors for their support in a visual and public way. The goal of TAG Day is not only to express gratitude to those who have given back to the university, but also to educate and raise awareness on campus of the many ways philanthropy impacts day-to-day life. Also, we will host ‘Thank You Thursday’ where students, faculty and staff can sign thank you cards and our annual thank you banner.
