Meet the Staff

Mandi Hummel serves as the Executive Director of Career Services and has been with Tiffin University since 2013. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Bowling Green State University. Mandi is a Certified Career Services Provider through the National Career Development Association. This certification demonstrates her competencies in providing essential skills in areas such as assessment, diverse populations, ethical and legal issues, career development models, labor market and employability skills and helping/coaching skills to name a few. Mandi has a breadth of experience in multiple Student Affairs functions including, Student Conduct, Title IX, Residence Life, First-Year Experience, Health and Wellness and Career Services. Mandi holds a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Wright State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Wright State University. She loves to be outdoors in the sun and by water, her favorite superhero is Aquaman!

The Assistant Director of Career Services is responsible for aiding the Executive Director in meeting the objectives of the Career Services office. Dakel holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Findlay and a double Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from The University of Findlay. He enjoys all sports, coaching track and field athletes and custom cars!

In career services, we strive to ensure our students and alumni are provided with the appropriate tools and resources needed to be successful. This means assisting with job placement, creating internship and work experience programs, and assuming other relevant duties around campus.
