Please be advised that some University events and classes may focus on a controversial current event or subject matter that may involve discussions of sensitive topics, including but not limited to violence, discrimination, political conflict and trauma.

We understand that these subjects can evoke strong emotions and may be personally challenging for some attendees.

Our goal is to foster a respectful and open environment where diverse perspectives can be shared and heard. We also recognize the importance of mental health and well-being, and we encourage anyone who may feel affected to seek support from our Counseling and Wellness Center by going directly to the office in Friedley Hall, emailing couseling@tiffin.edu or calling 419.448.3578.

Participation in these events is completely voluntary, and there will be opportunities to engage in various capacities. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, we respect your decision to step away from the discussion.

Your well-being is our priority, and we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive community for all our members. If you have any concerns or need accommodations to participate in this event, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
