What You’ll Do
Learn robotics the fun way!
You’ll get a quick clear introduction to:
- How robots move and respond to commands
- How programming controls robot behavior
- How engineers test, debug, and improve performance
A Look at the DAy
You’ll work in teams to program robots & complete hands-on missions like:
- Navigation & path following
- Obstacle and accuracy challenges
- Timed tasks that reward teamwork, creativity and smart problem-solving
You’ll end the day with a friendly competition and a mini showcase – plus recognition and certificates to celebrate what you have accomplished.
Robots You Will Use (Yes, REAL robots!)
This camp features robotics in our lab including:
Hands-on robotics programming
- Sphero BOLT Power Pack — team-based coding challenges and high participation hands-on activities
- Dobot Magician Lite — a robotic arm used for pick-and-place style automation tasks (great for real-world robotics applications)
Meet advanced robots up Close
- NAO— a humanoid robot demonstration (human-robot interaction)
- Spot (robot dog) — meet and interact with an exciting robotics platform used in the real world
What You’ll Take Away
By the end of camp, you’ll leave with:
- Real experience writing code that controls robots
- Stronger problem-solving and teamwork skills
- A fun achievement you can share with family, teachers, and friends
