Meet the Information Technology Services (ITS) Staff
Scott Ferguson, Executive Director, Information Technology Services & CIO
Scott is responsible for all aspects of information technology and computer services operations, policy, planning, evaluation, budget, personnel supervision, and development. His other duties include the advocacy, development, and coordination of academic and administrative computing, telecommunications and networking, as well as media, web, distance education, and other instructional technology activities both within and outside Tiffin University.
Gary Dayton, Technical Director
Gary’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support TU’s core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all aspects of the TU network and systems, oversee TU's physical and virtual data center, storage, network, and security infrastructure, as well as critical network services and resources that operate on these devices.
Jennifer Stuller, Systems Administrator
Jennifer's primary responsibilities include augmenting support of the file/print services and email systems, such as system upgrades, patching, testing documentation, and planning. Also responsible for scheduling and monitoring systems backups, and assisting the Technical Director and CIO with technology programs and initiatives.
Benjamin Tyler, PC/Helpdesk Support Technician
Ben is responsible for support of desktops and end user devices on campus which includes both hardware and software. Ben also works closely with the Technical Director to resolve network related issues for both the wired and wireless networks.
Micah Rettig , Application Data Specialist
Micah is responsible for the extraction and movement of data between disparate systems; assisting departments with data reporting needs; the analysis, design, and creation of reports for administrative offices; and assisting with general technical support of administrative systems.
