Go Greek at Tiffin University

Greek life at Tiffin University has increased in both the number of individuals who pledge and also in the number of organizations. There are currently two fraternities and three sororities, each adding their unique attributes, causes, and events to campus life. Each organization is required to participate in community service as well as host campus events and fundraisers, with many of these events becoming popular traditions at TU.

Alpha Iota is an international business sorority at TU where the sisters stress the importance of scholarship, loyalty, and cooperation among all members. The Alpha’s support and work with the American Red Cross and Autism awareness.

Pi Tau Rho was founded by two young black women dedicated to making this more than an organization—it is a home, a family, and a space where all women and non-binary individuals, especially minorities, can thrive. We are dedicated to fostering unity, love, and empowerment on campus, creating an environment where every member feels seen, heard, and valued.
As a sorority, we are committed to strengthening minority engagement and uplifting young college-aged individuals through support, service, and leadership. Our members take pride in giving back to the community, whether it’s through volunteer initiatives or campus-wide events that promote inclusivity and cultural awareness.
Beyond college, Pi Tau Rho offers lifelong connections to continue inspiring, guiding, and celebrating each other’s successes. Whether it’s encouragement during finals, advice on career opportunities, or simply a shoulder to lean on, our bond extends far beyond graduation.
With a foundation built on respect, advocacy, and sisterhood, Pi Tau Rho is ready to make a lasting impact—on campus, in our communities, and in the lives of those who need it most.

Greek Council

While the main purpose of Greek Council is to serve as the governing body over all Greek organizations, Greek Council has several other important purposes. The first two weeks of events include activities that are planned by Greek Council, while the second two weeks include activities that are planned by the individual organization. A formal Induction Ceremony is held at the conclusion of the four weeks to honor the new Greek members.
