Tiffin University announces its 2026 summer camps, inviting middle and high school students to explore their interests and experience college life firsthand through a series of six immersive, hands-on programs designed to inspire academic curiosity, creativity and career exploration.
Hosted on campus, the camps are led by experienced faculty and staff and provide students with learning opportunities across a variety of disciplines. Participants will engage in real-world applications, build skills and gain insight into potential career paths while connecting with peers in a supportive, college-level environment.
The NextGen Technology Camp will run from June 9 to 11 and is open to rising high school juniors and seniors. The hands-on camp is designed for students interested in cybersecurity, computer science and emerging technologies. Participants will explore areas including PC hardware, OSINT (Open Source Intelligence), cryptography, password cracking, drone basics, digital forensics and robotics, while also taking part in supervised evening activities such as esports tournaments and social events. The cost to attend is $450.
The Forensic Science Academy Camp will run from June 9 to 12 and is open to rising high school sophomores and juniors. Campers will learn principles and tactics to assist criminal investigations through chemistry, biology and analyzing real and recent crime scenes from coroners across the country. They will work in small groups with high-level TU professors with field experience alongside experts currently working in the fields of crime scene analysis, fire forensics, blood spatter, forensic biology and forensic chemistry. The cost to attend is $979.
The Music Industry Camp will run from July 12 to16 and is open to all high school and college students, as well as amateur and professional musicians and educators. Working in small ensembles and production teams, campers each take the lead in the creation of original pop, rock, r&b and hip hop music, a cappella arrangements and solo and group performances. They will also receive private instruction and solo coachings, and participate in workshops on topics key to success on stage and in the studio. They will collaboratively work with professional artists-in-residence to create and record original music together, engage in co-writing activities and work with a professional producer in the recording and mixing of songs. Camp ends on Thursday evening with a public in-person and live-streamed performance. The artist-in-residence will be Haley Schattschneider, a Nashville-based vocalist and production manager working in jazz, gospel and commercial music. The cost to attend is $675.
The Middle School Robotics Camp will be held on July 13, and the High School Robotics Camp will be held on July 15, both hosted by Tiffin University’s Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Center. The middle school camp is open to students in grades six through eight, and the high school camp is open to students in grades nine through 12. Both camps introduce participants to robotics and basic coding while working in teams to complete robot missions. Activities include navigation challenges, obstacle courses and problem-solving tasks using tools such as Sphero BOLT and Dobot Magician Lite, along with demonstrations of advanced robotics systems. Each camp builds coding, teamwork and STEM skills and concludes with a student showcase. The cost to attend is $95.
The Cold Case Camp will run from July 20 to 23 and is open to rising high school juniors and seniors. Campers will be acquainted with cold case work and introduced to the many concepts involved in the solving of cold cases. They will be exposed to both mock and real cold cases in a hands-on capacity, receive lessons in victimology and suspectology in the solving of cold cases, and learn basic investigation and data analysis techniques. The cost to attend is $800. For more information, visit tiffin.edu/admissions/camps.
